**Salesforce Developer**

**Purpose of the Job**

This position is accountable for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Coptic Orphans' technology solutions, with a primary focus on the Salesforce CRM platform. **Essential Functions and Responsibilities**
- Analyze, design, develop, and implement effective and reliable solutions within the Salesforce platform. Ensure that system functionality supports departmental needs while following established development standards and delivering work with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure Salesforce functionality satisfies all organizational departmental needs.
- Provide second-level technical support for system issues and inquiries; troubleshoot and resolve problems in coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
- Implement requested design modifications and changes to existing system functionalities.
- Monitor system health and proactively identify performance or data consistency issues.
- Maintain detailed oversight of the system architecture and design compatibility.
- Maintain high availability and optimal performance of mission-critical systems.

**Required Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Basic understanding of Salesforce development principles (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL).
- Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud is a plus.
- Foundational experience in database development and object-oriented programming (Java or JavaScript preferred).
- Good understanding of data analysis and visualization concepts.
- Good problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow established development standards.
- Ability to work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support project success.

**Travel and Working requirements**
- Typical office environment limited to walking, sitting, typing, using office equipment.
- Occasional travel, nationally or internationally, is expected.
