Egypt Site Engineering Manager

About Role
You will lead the Engineering and Maintenance function in our Egypt manufacturing site with the objective to achieve maximum plant reliability in response to operational activity needs for the local unit. You will be located in our site in 6th of October city, industrial zone 3, and reporting to the Head of Operations, Egypt.
**Responsibilities**:
Provide input to the local Operations business plan and related goals with regards to e.g. engineering projects, production capacity, important maintenance activities, changes in equipment, spare parts inventory.
Determine Site Engineering annual targets and goals based on functional strategy and lead and monitor their achievement.
Lead a team of Maintenance & Engineering technicians, and contractors, working on different assignments within engineering and maintenance field.
Work with other Engineering functions to ensure proper analysis and implementation of global strategies, plans or best practices.
Establish site master plans to capture all Capex, engineering and maintenance plans and lead their execution to address internal customer requirements in the short, mid and long term.
Provide input to global or regional Capex projects to anticipate impact on local activities and resources.
Implement local Capex projects (when approved).
Manage all routine engineering and maintenance activities, track progress against plan(s) and implement corrective actions in case of deviation.
Achieve excellent engineering and maintenance service to clients through maintenance work, local projects and coordinate capital investments on site.
Maintain compliance of all assets with applicable legal or company standards, and harmonization of standards within the departments.
Implement Group Engineering projects, guidelines and directives and organize regular trainings to ensure adherence to these and other standards (e.g. EHS).
Oversee the development of annual human resources processes for the local Engineering & Maintenance teams and validate related results.
Work with local Operations and regional/global E&M management teams and HR Business Partner(s) in developing a local recruiting pipeline for the function.
Create the development and promotion of talents withinthe function.
Propose budgets and levels of service for engineering and maintenance activities and implement these within approved limit(s).
Maintain contact to local authorities.
**Your Qualifications**:
University degree in Engineering.
Plant Engineering or Maintenance certification.
You have overall work experience of 8+ years in manufacturing or plant operations, including exposure to factory engineering and maintenance strategy and operational maintenance of production equipment.
5+ years of experience in people management.
Experience working with diverse cultures
You should be an Arabic language speaker and preferred local nationality.
