National hse Manager

**Role Accountabilities**:

- Manages HSE procedures and policies related to AFGRE Projects and Facilities Management operations. Actively manages, controls, and ensures compliance with the highest level of Health and Safety throughout CFC and ensures all HSE and security records are maintained
- Liaises closely with authorities, suppliers, main contractor, and sub-contractors to ensure safety compliance and conclusion of HSE matters within CFC
- Promotes a “Best Practice” through benchmarking and communicates the results to management for assessment through KPIs measuring trends and root causes.
- Evaluates HSE incidents and draws a mitigation plan to reduce the risk.
- Manages all HSE contractual requirements ensuring they are adhered to and submitted as per the stipulated timeline.
- Calculates risk assessment and handles work permits related accordingly.
- Anticipates risk assessment and critical activities identified providing relevant inspection and test plans endorsed by relevant authorities.
- Ensure that all services provided to the clientele and to the service partner adhere with the utmost consideration of Health and Safety Standards both locally and internationally.
- Provides audit to ensure the Contractors and service providers are within the adopted standards and put a corrective action to ensure compliance.

**Role Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any related field.
- 10 - 12 years of experience in HSE with a focus on the construction and real estate field.
- Very good command of English.
- Certification in NEBOSH is a must.
