**About the Role***

The HCV Analytics & Automation team aims to help the Uber HCV business solve its toughest challenges. We combine our unique skills (strategy, business intelligence, data analytics, automation) to answer some of the hardest questions facing our business, build local solutions to help our business scale and build scalable processes to drive efficiencies.
- Support and maintain scalable technical solutions to solve the needs of our markets
- Help build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting models to assist operations and provide insights for different teams on a city-level as well as on the global leadership level
- Help drive analysis on regional projects and important strategic decisions
- Help automate scalable processes to create operational efficiencies globally
- Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science / Engineering or related field
- Experience in SQL and manipulation of large data sets.
- Experience in Python and in using it to build data analytics pipelines
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them right.
- Explorer - the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role. Self-starter attitude is a must
- Prior professional experience in data science and / or descriptive analytics
