We are looking for a fresh and senior Telecom Engineer to join an intensive training to be qualified engineer carrying out the following duties Job Description - Understanding of wireless networking, including Wi-Fi protocols and RF propagation - Expertise in RF design - Understanding of various wired/wireless planning, measurement tools ,analyzers and sniffers (Wireshark, AirMagnet, Airopeek) - Familiarity with spectrum analyzers, packet analyzers, and other wireless analysis tools - Knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, SNMP and syslog protocols - Experience with standard L2/L3 protocols such as IGP, LACP, STP, VRRP, UDLD, 802.1x, etc. - Understanding wireless Security - Understanding access network protocols, 802.1a/b/g/n/ac, PIM / IGMP, QoS - Ability to clearly document solution status and resolution. - knowledge of 802.11 protocol stack - Knowledge of RF propagation and antenna selection - Coordinate and conduct RF coverage testing after installation - Prepare system acceptance reports and other relative documentation - Participation in outdoor and indoor site surveys to identify RF coverage requirements, equipment location and antenna placement/orientation;
- Network performance improvement (KPIs) and optimization tasks;
- Overall systems validation, performance, optimization through customer acceptance;
- Coordinate and conduct RF coverage testing after installation - Prepare system acceptance reports and other relative documentation - Participation in outdoor and indoor site surveys to identify RF coverage requirements, equipment location and antenna placement/orientation;
- Conduct system troubleshooting as necessary
- Understanding of wireless networking, including Wi-Fi protocols and RF propagation - Expertise in RF design - Understanding of various wired/wireless planning, measurement tools ,analyzers and sniffers (Wireshark, AirMagnet, Airopeek) - Familiarity with spectrum analyzers, packet analyzers, and other wireless analysis tools - Knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, SNMP and syslog protocols - Experience with standard L2/L3 protocols such as IGP, LACP, STP, VRRP, UDLD, 802.1x, etc. - Knowledge of various WiFi vendor platforms (AP to backend) and pros/cons. Emphasis on CAPWAP and Controller based systems - Experience with wireless Security - Experience in access network protocols, 802.1a/b/g/n/ac, PIM / IGMP, QoS - Ability to clearly document solution status and resolution. - Detailed knowledge of 802.11 protocol stack - Enterprise wireless switches (HP Procurve and/or Ruckus, Cisco, Aruba) - Knowledge of RF propagation and antenna selection Skills -Leadership and communications skill -Ability to learn new technology and self study -Work under pressure - Fluent in Arabic & English. Job Requirements: - Fresh or Experience with HP,Ruckus ,Aruba & Cisco Wifi equipment (access points, routers, switches, controllers) - CCNA or CWNA certifications are a plus - Fresh to three years of experience in the similar field - Driving licence is optional
