**What you’ll do**:
The Customer delivery Assotiate PM role exists within the Customer delivery portfolio management unit. The Delivery organisation is part of an Agile organisation of squads, tribes and other chapters, which design and deliver enterprise level technology solutions to customers. These solutions primarily consist of Unified Comms, Connectivity, Internet of Things, Managed Mobility, Cloud and Security. The Customer delivery Assotiate PM is responsible for owning a variety of customer delivery projects through the phases of a project lifecycle, from initial opportunity through to successful handover into business-as-usual operations, with a focus on meeting project commitments through strong teamwork and pragmatism.
**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:
- Fully involved in a matrix-team of multi-talented people from across geographical locations, cultures and organisations, including Vodafone, its vendors and its customers
- Deliver multi-tower technical solutions into enterprise customer estates.
- Create project plans/work packages and schedules to support and track milestone delivery, using tasks, dependencies and timeframes
- Manage the project/work packages requirements, scope and specifications
- Manage the project/work packages budget through regular finance tracking ( when necessary)
**Long Description**:
- Manage assumptions, dependencies, risks, issues and project/work packages change within the appropriate governance and assurance frameworks
- Record project/work packages data in a central system
- Provide accurate reports on project/work packages progress to senior stakeholders within Vodafone and the customer
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Close projects/work packages and record lessons to promote resilience and continuous improvement
- Promote the use of digital tools over manual processes and handoffs
**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:
**Previous experience**
- 1 year experience of working as a project team member in a Technology or Corporate IT Organisation (can include time as a graduate or apprentice)
**Products & Solutions**
- Experience with one or more of the following is desirable, but not essential: Unified Communications, Cloud, Internet of Things, Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD WAN), Fixed Line Connectivity, IPVPN, Digital Transformation (all of these are desirable, but not essential)
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving and issue resolution
- A keen interest in continuous improvement and digitisation
**Long Description**:
**Stakeholder management**
- The ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors and senior internal stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with internal customers, delivery partners and external vendors.
- A dynamic approach to leading matrix teams, with a drive towards team empowerment and self-sufficiency
- Experience of working in a highly matrixed, Agile organisation is desirable, but not essential
**Communication & Language Skills**
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially when working with remote team members, suppliers and senior stakeholders
Fluent English language proficiency, both written and spoken. Other languages also benifical due to international customer base
**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:
The following are desirable, **there are no must-haves**
- Project Management certifications, such as PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, PMI-PMP
Experience in Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, SAFe and/or Spotify ways of working
