**Envision Employment Solutions** is currently on the look for a
**Quality Control Engineer **for one of our partners, a Fin-Tech Company.

**Job Summary**:
As a
**Quality Control Engineer **you will work closely with all members of the software development team to validate and verify defect resolutions, record defects and report on test results while identifying any major risks to the success of the project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test scenarios
- Execute manual and automated test cases and procedures
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Excellent attention to detail to identify defects including Functional / Non-Functional defects
- Improve/add procedures for most efficient testing of the products
- Align with Client to support and investigate/identify any unexpected behavior on live environment

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Software Testing
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field will be considered a plus
- Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of working in an Agile/Scrum development/testing process
- Experience in Fintech is a plus
- Bug tracking Systems (Jira, Bugzilla, or similar) experience
- Unix, Linux, Windows knowledge
- Strong experience in API Testing
- Experience in Automation Testing tools like Postman, and Selenium
- Experience in Performance Testing using JMeter
- ISTQB Certified is a plus
