You will be working as Foreign Buyer and will be the part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to LVS 3101 LPG Manager and will be responsible to purchase materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures

**Your responsibilities**:

- Identifies new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team, qualifies new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists
- Designs and implements plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets, supports regional and global sourcing initiatives as required, working for GBS centers, support specific assigned tasks related to sourcing, like e-sourcing activities
- Negotiates agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions
- Applies and implements PL standards, tools and processes in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and Sustainability, creates and updates reports, as required, following the ABB standards
- Adapts corporate contractual framework to the local business needs, recommends frame agreements to management and executes upon approval
- Conducts all Procurement & Logistics activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures, ensures Pro-Supply global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in ABB Tools procedure
- Following all ABB Ethics and OHS instructions, executes effective and transparent communication internally & externally and between different units and center

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience and knowledge of industrial sector preferable to be electrical
- Certified Procurement & SC is preferable, procurement & SC experience is a privilege
- Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple tasks-Efficient time management
- Good leadership capabilities with a team-oriented attitude, experienced use of different Microsoft programs
- SAP experience is preferable, people management skills and strong analytical & conceptual skills
- Fluency in English language is mandatory, Arabic language is a privilege
