- Enabling data-driven engineering decisions and directions
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role with 7-10 years of experience.
- Leading team experience of at least 3 years
- PhD, MSc or BSs degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or similar field.
- Solid understanding of machine learning, data analysis and AI techniques.
- Strong technical background in DSP and image processing techniques.
- Exposure to the end-to-end machine learning pipeline.
- Knowledge of data engineering, management and visualization techniques.
- A knack for statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
- Deep knowledge of Python, Excel, Octave and MATLAB, or equivalent.
- Very good programming skills and knowledge of Java, C, C++, PHP, or equivalent.
- Experienced in cloud computing.
- System-level experience in previous projects is a plus.
- Experience in Chemometric and Spectroscopy is a plus.
- Experience with SQL and MySQL databases or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Self-starter with demonstrated quantitative analysis and problem solving skills.
- Able to proactively communicate with different teams and work under pressure.
- Storytelling and communication through dashboards and presentations.
- Structured thinking, strong problem formulation and problem-solving ability.
