POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Advanced TESOL Trainer will equip Access Program Teachers, Managers, and Coordinators through the development and facilitation of training sessions focused on modern teaching methodologies and tools for instructing English as an international language. These sessions will address the core language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, in addition to grammar and vocabulary. Participants will receive instruction on creating a conducive and engaging language learning environment for all students enrolled in Access classes.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Tasks and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Conduct training for participants on advanced TESOL skills for implementation within their Access programs.
- Collaborate with participants to enhance their proficiency in TESOL.
- Align participant expectations with workshop objectives by identifying their needs and incorporating them into the training.
- Adhere to Amideast's instructional framework, ensuring all materials utilized conform to Amideast's quality standards.
- Modify materials as necessary in partnership with Amideast, tailoring content to suit the specific profile and expectations

of the audience.
- Maintain accurate attendance records of participants by utilizing the prescribed forms.
- Evaluate trainee’s progress through the completion of the Amideast Trainee Assessment Form.


**Qualifications and Skills**
- Required_
- MA in TESOL or related filed, or an equivalent accredited teaching certificate
- Experience in teaching and teacher training
- Preferred_
- Experience in teaching Access classes and/or managing the Access Program
