We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Section Head to join our team at a leading FMCG company. As the Payroll Section Head, you will take on a critical role in overseeing the payroll function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee compensation. You will manage a team of payroll specialists, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in payroll processes.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the entire payroll processing cycle to ensure accuracy and timeliness in payroll disbursements.
- Manage and mentor payroll staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with all payroll laws, regulations, and policies at local, state, and federal levels.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate integration of employee changes affecting payroll (new hires, terminations, promotions).
- Prepare and review payroll reports and analyses for management and finance teams.
- Implement and maintain payroll policies and procedures to ensure best practices.
- Resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of payroll experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
