**This position reports to**:
Quality and Operational Excellence Manag

**Your role and responsibilities**:
You will be mainly accountable for: -Monitoring of Business KPI.s creating improvement opportunities -Tracking of programs, initiatives, projects, and key performance indicators (KPIs) -Driving significant improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory and/or cost targets and fulfillment of commitments to customers and stakeholders in collaboration with local management. -Guiding the local improvement actions toward greater customer satisfaction using the appropriate problem-solving methodologies, involving all stake holders like production, supplier quality, engineering & R&D -Leading the implementation of lean foundations such as 5S and other lean practices such as TPM, JIT, Value stream maps and lean logistics. -Removing barriers to the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives at local level in consultation with relevant stakeholders, -Providing support in cases of conflicting priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering or similar field.
- Sound knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Minitab are an asset Preferred experience in Power fields Experience using 8D/Problem solving methodologies
- Hands-on and problem-solving mentality to challenge “status quo”
- High customer and solution orientation, paired with a communicative personality Ability to determine quality metrics for all manufacturing procedures
