**Requirements and responsibilities**

**Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Configure and create test automation frameworks tailored to our needs.
- Strategically plan the automation coverage for newly added features.
- Design reusable automation components or modules to optimize testing efficiency.
- Maintain and support the test automation framework, planning, and execution processes.
- Ensure the highest quality of testing scripts and adhere to code standards.
- Review test quality and coding standards across the team, providing guidance and leadership.
- Write and execute test automation scripts, assisting with issue resolution as needed.
- Collaborate closely with QA Analysts and Software Developers to devise effective solutions.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- A solid foundation in test automation with at least 4 years of specific experience and a total of 6+ years in the field.
- Proficient in JavaScript with strong software development skills.
- In-depth knowledge of conducting functional tests on browsers, preferably Google Chrome.
- Ability to work effectively with Google Chrome Dev Tools.
- Experienced in writing Backend/API end-to-end tests.
- Skilled in systems troubleshooting and debugging.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SCRUM frameworks.

**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**
- Experience with database operations (seeding/resetting) using MySQL, Mongo, Snowflake, etc.
- Proficiency in working with Docker; Docker-compose is highly regarded.
- Knowledge in building CI/CD pipelines, with a preference for Jenkins.
- Experience with TypeScript is advantageous.
- A team player who thrives in collaborative environments more than working solo.
