We are looking for a Head of Water BU for our Compact and Dedicated Drives Division to spearhead one of our business areas with a worldwide portfolio.

**Position summary**:
The Head of Water BU will operate in a global environment and leads a team of experienced, knowledgeable, and committed professionals. As Head of Water BU you set the aligned strategic direction for the team that runs 200M€ business, focus on serving the water and waste water market with the right portfolio of water specific AC drives.

You are responsible for P/L, developing and implementing the growth strategies as well as portfolio and offering to customers. You are a member of the Compact and Dedicated Drives Leadership Team.

You are externally focused, and customers, competitors, technology, and industry trends drive you forward. This passion enables you to drive forward a sound portfolio AC drives and services to Danfoss Drives water customers. You enable the development of the team, having a solid focus on talent and people development.

You are known as an empowering leader, recognized for your excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, highly effective in large matrix organizations, capable of being both visionary and hands on when needed.

Preferred location is Gråsten Denmark, but other locations like Hayian China or LovesPark USA can be considered.

**Responsibilities**:

- Executing on the financial targets of the BU.
- Effective collaboration and strategic alignment with customers, sales, product management, product development, strategy, and supply chain.
- Developing a high-performance team establishing effective collaboration with both functional and regional stakeholders.
- Monitor the implementation of the agreed customers focus areas and strategies.
- Driving the product management and development with Agile methods.
- Ensuring delivery capabilities and performance of the BU.

**Your profile**
Qualifications, Experience and Languages
- MS degree or higher in engineering, business, or a related field.
- Min 8 years of successful previous experience as in senior leadership roles preferably with P&L responsibilities and experience of 2 of the core functions (Sales, product management, product development, SCM or strategy).
- Min 5 years of experience leading large groups of people and global teams.
- Customer/commercial leadership experience and ability to facilitate customers interactions with credibility, confidence and Think Danfoss mentality.
- Proven track record of leading through more than one business situation.
- Proficient with negotiation/deal making, M&A experience (including identification, due diligence, or integration).
- Committed to continuous learning and improvements.
