**Role Purpose**:
**Key Responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Implement, configure, and maintain the Infrastructure of different Cloud platform projects (mainly GCP) through Infrastructure and configuration management as a code.
- Work with the architecture team for the integration between different GCP services in the supported solution
- Build, integrate and maintain CI/CD platform and tools.
- Work collaboratively with software engineers to operate micro-services.
- Develop automated solutions and framework to provision and manage cloud platforms for data analytics & Machine learning solutions build on GCP services, maintaining the DevOps model and saving operation time.
- Support, troubleshoot and resolve issues for various IT projects, Analytics services, and implementations.
- High Level look of integration of output from developments teams among other things.
- Ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security of all platforms.

**Core Experience and qualifications required**:

- Engineering or Computer Science graduate is mandatory
- Experience and hands-on of Cloud services, mainly GCP platform and its different managed services.
- Experience with different CI/CD tools, mainly Jenkins or GoCD & Nexus,
- Expert knowledge of “Infrastructure as Code” using Terraform.
- Very Good knowledge with automation/configuration management using Ansible. Puppet or Chefef are a plus.
- Very Good knowledge of Micro services architecture.
- Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes and running dockerized micro-services on top of it.
- Experience with Version Control systems such as GitHub
- Demonstrable experience of Linux administration and scripting on any major distribution.
- Very good knowledge and understanding of Networks, Databases, DNS, proxies & Security.
- Good knowledge of backup/recovery, disaster recovery, vulnerability and patch management.
- Python knowledge. Ruby is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of DevOps concept.
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services.
- Delivery focused, customer satisfaction obsessed and ability to work in an Agile environment
