Today, we are recruiting a Depot Workshop Equipment (DWE) Installation Manager to join our High-speed Project Team in Egypt.

What are my responsibilities? - Developing a Depot Workshop Equipment (DWE) installation strategy including number of required teams per depot location, installation labor supply concept and strategy.
- You will be responsible to coordinate and request depot workshop equipment from central warehouse / storage to site access locations in accordance with the contract access and completion dates leading up to handover for testing and completion of works. - Using the installation strategy, develop and maintain the DWE Construction and Installation Management Plan and any other necessary plans, as well as assisting in developing coordinated programs for installation at the depot. - Ensuring that the installation at site is completed on time and within budget. - Coordinating DWE installation and commissioning teams onsite.
- Coordinating of site supervisors related to daily activities and their reporting. - Supporting the schedule regular update with all inputs from onsite activities. - Monitoring and controlling all material that must be installed. - Acting as a site interface to the customer and external suppliers.
- Working in coordination with the QMiP (Quality Manager) to ensure the technically flawless and economical execution of the assembly and commissioning work. - Analyzing disruptions at site and determine remedial measures with those involved, even if there are conflicting interests. - You are expected to follow and monitor compliance of deadlines for commissioning and coordinate them with the Project Manager. - Following the DWE installation method statement and be responsible for compliance with HSE regulations on the construction sites.
- Supporting from the site the contract and claim management teams and monitor the quantity survey activities for the scope of delivery. - Developing and implementing arrangements to prepare, manage, store, and obtain acceptance for Construction and As Built drawings. - Organizing installation risk assessments, developing, and implementing installation work method statements incorporating safe working methods. - Complying to procedures for site supervision, site environmental health and safety and security, monitoring progress of the works, installation quality management and installation tests prior to handover for testing.
- Progress reporting in liaison with the project planning and contract teams including safety as well as physical performance. - Central hub for compiling of information regarding deadlines, costs, defects, and delays and providing technical input to defend claims. What do I need to qualify for this job? - Bachelor’s degree in electrical mechanical, Civil or Engineering discipline - At least 8 years of experience in an Installation Management position for heavy machines and 15 years of overall working experience.

Preferably previous experience in the domain of installation of Railway Depot equipment, ideally in an international environment with longer stays abroad. - Experience in the management and coordination of several teams and Installation personnel. - Native Arabic speaker with great communication skills. Fluency in English - Committed to working in a demanding environment with conflicting priorities and without permanent supervision.
