**Summary of the job**:
The Country lead Libya is responsible for all commercial activities to achieve the business objectives within business policies and guidelines as well as departmental budget. At this level, the position has a greater degree of impact on the business results. This job is not eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions.
He/She is responsible to identify business opportunities, manage and/or set up our distributor set up in the country and manage the relationship with our partner to achieve optimal and compliant performance. This is through leading short and long-term plans and realize competitive & compliant access-driven growth with collaboration with the rest of strategic teams of Medical Affairs, Market Access & others.
This role will be directly reporting to the Managing Director.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Have full P&L accountability for the brands/ business units / country & to develop scenarios for business and P&L given the resources and changes that may take place in the market.
- Set up / manage the distributor model design and manage the relationships with our key stakeholders.
- Manages daily advertising and sales promotion activities.
- Recommends product modifications or improvements to product line.
- Provides input for the development of products and anticipates a customer need/solution approach.
- Develops sales processes and pricing models with the related departments.
- Facilitates the attraction, hiring and motivation of marketing and sales staff.
- Coaches and mentors subordinate and appraises subordinate performance.
- Communicates and tracks short
- and long-range sales and marketing plans.
- Implements marketing objectives, policies, sales organization structure, sales and marketing programs to achieve maximum sales and profit.

- launch plans for the upcoming launches within the scope of the country to ensure the organizational preparedness & market readiness
- Ensure full adherence & compliance of commercial operations with J&J standards & local law regulations
- Create & Champion Credo based culture including DEI emphasis to fully unleash the potential of the assigned teams/ functions with relentless focus on our purpose of leaving no patients behind

**Qualifications**:
**Experience Required**:
- **Education**:Relevant University degree. A post graduate university degree in Business Administration (MBA), Marketing, Health
- economics, Digital & other relevant fields is advantageous.
- **Experience**:Minimum 1 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry within commercial functions, including people management & leadership roles with a solid track record of achievements & accomplishments
- Solid Experience with track record of success in management of distributor based markets and of launches in specialty care, portfolio transformation & public access
- Mix of local, regional, global & different markets experiences are an asset
- **Language**:Fluent in both English & Arabic
