Radio Integration Senior Engineer

ROLE PURPOSE: On starting of fiscal year, assessment is carried out by radio teams, based on the result they decide to go with pool of new site rollout and expand current sites capacity by preforming (2G/3G/4G expansions, Modernization, or Antenna change request,etc.), FY target. Radio breaks it down into streams and each region own its target.

The integration engineer is responsible for performing remote site integration for all radio rollout and expansions targets in speed and simplicity through focusing on voice service from an E2E perspective and total ownership approach.

Key Accountabilities:
Data validation & preparation

Management.: - Revise radio data sent in batches by radio prior to execution (preparation phase):
Radio documents are ( SF6/PRQ - RF data - utilization sheets - TX LLD
- License files )
- Properly following change management process & agreed SLAs with radio during preparation phase.
- Use and develop tools to create DT/Scripts/files.
- Secure templates and tools exist for the script collection and production
- Prepare DT/Scripts/files according to applicable procedure.
- Prepare progress/update reports in applicable format for each batch.
- Prepare internal shared DB to archive all radio files and its progress.

Configuration Management: List the requested action in a daily queue
- Start action when comes its turn in the queue, 1st in-1st serve.
- Ensure readiness of all activity related documents before starting the action.
- Do an assessment for the action before starting and check/ prepare scripts.
- Request halts action from the concerned team if needed.
- Start execution when receiving a call from filed inform completing installation.
- Perform trouble shooting during execution with field team to clear alarms.
- Properly following change management process & agreed SLAs during implementation..
- Do activation action when job is completed.
- Update the relevant DB & VF systems with the corresponding status.
- Providing accurate technical reports after each change to all stakeholders.
- Ensure all lead times (response, handling & escalation) to be within the agreed lead times.
- Provide technical support for all stakeholders working on Integration process chain over a 24/7 on shift basis.
- Prepare handover documentation
- Ensure absence OSS audit repetitive concerns.
- Proper & fast acting on network performance issues.
- Proper & fast acting on performance issues appears in KPI and radio alerts.
- Perform trouble shooting and solve possible problems.
- Identify the gaps, keep learnt lessons causing network performance issues and avoid reoccurrence.
- Set a preventive measure for repeated cases.
- Minimize resolution time through enhancing technical skills.
- Prepare Technical Impact report if needed.

Test cases & Acceptance: - Prepare test cases and acceptance documentation templates.
- Run test cases according to test specifications.
- Ensure adherence to standard technical procedures for acceptance.
- Ensure system fault - free alarms.
- Collect logs before and after and attach it in VF - DB related systems.
- Ensure adherence to acceptance SLA.
- Act on delivering the activity clear from 1st time of integration.
- Fast acting on alarming activities and clear back-log.

Reporting: - Providing proper technical support for all stakeholders working on the integration process over a 24/7 shift basis.
- Provide effective and accurate technical reports leading to have enough technical details for all concerned parties.
- Know how transfer to our internal customers.
- Prepare completion report in applicable format

VF systems & Database: - NT account:
Create an account for each user.

Ensure adherence to IT security regulations.
- Remedy/ or its replacement in future:
Unique account for each user.

Fully aware of Integration, Planning Module, Change Management, incident modules.

Update each module according to the agreed procedures, process and SLAs.
- OSS/M2000/ or its replacement in future:
Unique account for each user.

Ensure adherence to OSS/M2000 security regulations.
- Shared drive (G):
Allow all Integration engineers to have an access to G drive.

Ensure adherence to the administrator regulations.
- Others that may be introduced in future:
Integration engineer is to adapt with any new system that serve the integration process.
