**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Data Engineer** to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that power advanced analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. You’ll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to ensure data quality, availability, and performance across our platforms.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves clean, efficient data systems, enjoys solving tough data challenges, and is comfortable mentoring others on best practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable **ETL/ELT pipelines**

Architect and implement **data warehouse** and **data lake** solutions using modern technologies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Optimize data systems for **performance**, **scalability**, and **reliability**

Ensure high standards for **data quality**, **integrity**, and **security**

Develop and maintain **documentation**, data dictionaries, and data lineage tracking

Work closely with DevOps and platform teams to deploy data solutions in **cloud environments** (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in data engineering

**Key Skills & Requirements**:
**5+ years** of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused engineering role

Proficient in **SQL** and one or more programming languages (e.g., **Python**, **Scala**, or **Java**)

Experience with **relational databases** (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and **NoSQL** databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)

Deep understanding of **ETL/ELT concepts** and tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, Talend, SSIS)

Strong experience with **data warehousing** (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse)

Familiarity with **big data frameworks** (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Hadoop) is a plus

Experience working in **cloud environments** (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Knowledge of **data modeling**, **data governance**, and **data privacy standards**

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

**Nice to Have**:
Experience with **CI/CD pipelines** and **infrastructure-as-code** for data platforms

Familiarity with **machine learning pipelines** or **real-time data processing**

Certifications in cloud platforms or data tools (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics)
