Client Manager

We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a design-oriented Client Manager that will be responsible for supporting critical global clients. In our Work Furniture Business, we design, manufacture, and distribute a wide range of components and finished products that enhance comfort, motion, and style in the work and home furniture industry. From surface-critical bent tube assemblies and molded plywood components to chair mechanisms, bases, arms, seats, and backs, our Work Furniture Business brings diverse world-class manufacturing capabilities together in the production and assembly of high-quality products. This position will provide engagement with key critical clients who are shaping residential and commercial workspaces. As a Client Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with these global clients in Scandinavia with a large focus in Denmark. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by being a partner to our clients that can bring them ideas/solutions, help them understand their challenges, and shape solutions that will help them achieve their goals. The ideal person for this role finds joy in creating connections between designers, engineers, marketers, merchants, and other professionals that result in mutual success. The role requires that you establish credibility, build consensus, and marshal internal resources effectively to further the client relationship. The team you will be working with values collaboration combined with rigor and discipline to follow through and create positive outcomes.

So, what will you be doing as a Client Manager?
- Owning the local client relationship with large global customers - developing deep connections and building rapport with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Developing and Managing projects - coordinating with internal teams effectively and ensuring we uphold necessary processes and accountability to client’s projects
- Problem-solving - helping to craft the best solutions for client problems through a design perspective and with a basic understanding of technical information
- Collaboration - effectively facilitate success connecting with internal and client teams, create connections between teams and build an environment of trust
- Innovation - generate compelling and inspiring ideas, thinking expansively about the value we can bring to the client’s business
- Driving results - accept ultimate responsibility for achieving business goals

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Written and oral fluency in Danish and English
- Skill in client collaboration
- Skill in delivering careful analysis and accurate data to customers
- Preparation and Presentation of customer quotes
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Industry experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, PowerPoint, and
