**Role purpose**:
Responsible for the overall software development of the security compliance capabilities that across the whole Vodafone business, mainly focused Data Center and Office network environments.

Assure the Integrity, Confidentiality and Availability of the networks in Europe, supporting effective end-to-end view on security aspects of the mobile and fixed services as well as their configurations and designs. Set up relevant tools and reports to be used to assess the security posture and promotes the best of breed security practises across the Engineering functions

**Key Accountabilites and Desicion Ownership**:

- Responsible for Software development
- Drive increased security compliance of our network end to end
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as a team member to creatively and cooperatively solve problems and complete tasks.
- Ability to triage and debug issues and fix them promptly.
- Implement Virtualisation and segregation concepts
- Conduct proof of concept (POC) validation

- Support the state-of-the art documentation collection to validate the security posture
- Ensure the quality of the documentation
- Responsible to ensure network harmonisation and standardization
- Harmonize Security network environments and services
- Drive network standards across Local markets
- Drive & Support Security Network innovations
- Collaboration and Teamwork
- Alignment with other engineering, implementation, and operations teams in Vodafone
- Development of harmonized solutions within local markets and Cyber Security
- Share expertise with other network teams across Vodafone

**Must Have Technical / Professional qualifications**:

- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues in our development, test, and production environments
- Experience with Git and related repository management services such as GitLab, GitHub, and BitBucket
- Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, and similar tools alongside an understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices
- Experience with agile project management tools such as Jira

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- An academic degree and/or at least 3/5 years work experience in an IT organization supporting large heterogeneous IT infrastructures.
- Experiences in project management
- Result-oriented and enjoy taking initiative as well as responsibility
- Fluent English oral and written
- 6+ years of Application Development experience
- 6+ years of DevOps experience
- Experience building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations
