**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Maintains the accounting system (Comsys) and prepares monthly financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for senior management review and corporate reporting.
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Reviews and approves customer billings to comply with underlying contracts.
- Co-ordinates and assists with various audits both internal and external.
- Analyzes & reconciles GL accounts.
- Manages accounts payable, checks, and petty cash & supervises recording in the accounting system.
- Manages accounts receivable, aging, collection & supervise recording in the accounting system.
- Approve the issuance of revenue invoices.
- Manages cash at the bank for cash forecast purposes.
- Technical Assistance to Management for Daily Financial Decisions.
- Responsible for coordinating and organizing Financial Activities.
- Develop Management Tools to measure & Analyze financial and operational information. (E.g. Financial ratios, key performance indicators, Management Reports).
- Develops & Manage complex Excel-based Financial Models.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure financial reporting and all financial and accounting transactions comply with company practices, professional standards, and the terms of the clients’ contracts.
**Qualifications**
- Considerable knowledge of accounting practice and theory.
- Ability to analyze financial data.
- Experience with complex accounting systems.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and communicate effectively.
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Four or more years of professional accounting experience.
