As Lead Counsel - OFSE MENATI, you will provide legal review and support to business leaders across several jurisdictions, segments, and product lines.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Supporting the MENATI Region with respect to Labor & employment, legal operations, different types of transactions and contracts and associated issues.
- Managing litigations and external lawyers to keep Baker Hughes protected.
- Leading contracts review and negotiations on strategic or complex agreements as required.
- Promoting effective teamwork and coverage between all Baker Hughes functions and Baker Hughes internal legal and compliance counsels.
- Showing solid written, verbal and presentation skills including an ability to present detailed information and slides at senior level.
- Using the law degree to ensure appropriate mechanisms are in place to comply with relevant laws and regulations, and adherence to corporate programs and practices.
- Providing legal leadership and oversight to business operations to assure adherence to all aspects of internal company and external regulatory compliance.
- Advising functional managers or other functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures in the own field.
- Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems.

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a Bachelor of Law/LLB form recognized a university.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Be a Bar Admitted Lawyer.
- Have 5+ years of experience in a Legal role in a multinational organization (preferably within the Oil & Gas/Energy industry) or recognised law firm.
- Have excellent proficiency in document planning/ drafting and strategy.
- Being able and ready to comfortable working broadly across the MENATI Region.
- Show understanding of alignment to Baker Hughes business and customer objectives whilst engaging with global and regional stakeholders.
- Show influential interpersonal and strong leadership skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
- Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Effectively identify problems and show solution skills.
- Have proven analytical and organizational ability.
- Hold excellent Skills of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
