**Role Purpose**:

- This is a delivery role, and as such requires a self-motivated and driven individual with a ‘ get it done & get it done together’ mentality and passion to help teams self-organize and solve complex business problems to radically simplify existing processes, a confident communicator with strong influencing, negotiation and problem solving skills experienced in working up to senior management level, the SM will have the ability to structure complex information and communicate in the most appropriate way to the relevant stakeholders.

Within this role capacity, it will be expected to go into tough discussions to transform the organization from normal ways of working into agile way of working, and to be an embodiment of the agile manifesto and what it stands for

**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- Direct & govern the Delivery teams use of Agile Frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe..etc) depending on the projects nature
- Coach team members on Agile Frameworks and technical practices (e.g., CI/CD, TDD, etc.)
- Coach & Disrupt Business owners on becoming Product Managers and upskill Scrum Squads to Scaled Agile squads
- Track and remove risks and issues of the delivery team by navigating up and across the organization
- Track and report on current status of all team members and the delivery
- Facilitating key agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives
- Monitor and optimize agile processes and practices
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and team learning
- Support the Product Owner in ensuring right-sized story writing, aligning priorities, and planning sprint iterations

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- Is a role model for best practices in Agile process execution, motivating other team members to do the same
- Ability to continue to monitor, learn, coach and implement industry best practices from the agile community
- Able to highlight internal and external dependencies and break down complex blockers
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working in fluid, fast-changing environments under pressure
- Excellent facilitation, organization, and problem-solving skills, helping the team manage conflicts, challenges, escalating only when team processes have failed

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
- Three to five years of work experience as Scrum Master in leading teams using agile methodologies in large-scale teams
- Overall, 10-15 Years of experience in a large scaled, dynamic program/project management environment working on Automation, Process reengineering programs/projects
- SAFe Practitioner Certified, Scrum Master Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Certified Scrum Master or similar
- JIRA/Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent experience is a must
- Experience working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, TDD, and BDD
- Certifications in traditional Project Management practices, e.g., Prince 2, PMP preferred
