Project & Development Services - MENA
JLL Project & Development Services (P&DS) MENA provides consulting, design, management and build services to tenant and owners, leveraging technology and digital solutions to drive outstanding service delivery.
We bring a life-cycle perspective to our clients, from development solutions to our core services in programme, project and cost management and consulting in digital solutions, tenancy management, sustainability, leisure & entertainment, and workplace & design.
The Role
The Assistant Project Manager (Fit Out) will support the project management team within JLL's Project Development Services (PDS) division in Egypt, focusing on commercial interior fit-out projects. This role involves assisting with the coordination and execution of fit-out projects, supporting senior project managers, and helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client specifications while developing project management expertise.
What this job involves
Supporting the project management team in daily activities across the fit-out project lifecycle.
Assisting with the development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets.
Coordinating with contractors, vendors, and consultants to track deliverables and timelines.
Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and report on construction activities.
Preparing project documentation, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
Supporting the procurement process including material selection and vendor coordination.
Tracking project changes and assisting with change order management.
Helping to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on project sites.
Attending client meetings and assisting with client communications.
Supporting the close-out process including punch list management and documentation.
Assisting with quality control inspections and reporting deficiencies.
Desired skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or Construction Management.
2-4 years of experience in construction, fit-out, or project coordination roles.
Knowledge of construction and fit-out processes, materials, and industry standards.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and documentation.
Good understanding of architectural and technical drawings.
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with project management software.
Basic knowledge of Egyptian building codes and construction regulations.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and team-oriented approach.
Problem-solving abilities and proactive attitude.
Willingness to learn and develop project management expertise.
Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
