- .**Job Purpose**:

- Ensuring the efficient management and control of the Warehouse Operation whilst achieving agreed KPIs and service levels. Provide an effective and reliable service to different key stakeholders of the function. The scope of the job includes both raw materials and finished products.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage & Store the right amount of materials, goods and products in the right location to feed the business’s and production's operational demands
- Responsible for organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to feed business operations and customer demand
- Lead the creation and implementation of best practice warehouse strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
- Ensure storage of both raw materials and finished products are in full adherence with the prevailing best GMP practice and guidelines
- Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times
- Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of both raw materials to Production and finished goods to Distribution Teams
- Ensure inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled with ERP utilizing help of the warehouse team
- Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all documentation relating to raw materials and finished products in and out including labeling of all stock items
- Manage order picking process with the right parameters of FIFO and other relevant practices.
- Continuously review ways to aid efficiency, add value and reduce costs as well as delivering continuous improvement initiatives
- Review ways to reduce waste
- Develop and maintain metrics/KPIs, reports, process documentation and training and safety records
- Create policies and procedures for warehouse activities and ensure all systems meet the standards for accreditation in line with the quality systems
- Coach, manage and develop warehouse staff to optimize performance and meet targets and deadlines
- Develop and share warehouse scorecard on agreed timely intervals
