Supply Chain Business Control Manager

A leading company in the alcoholic beverages industry is currently seeking a Supply Chain Business Control Manager to oversee and optimize their supply chain operations. This position involves not only maintaining the highest standards of efficiency but also ensuring financial integrity across all aspects of the supply chain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for data analysis, financial forecasting, and strategic planning to facilitate informed decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepares financial forecasts, cash flow predictions, and rolling revenue, cost, and working capital forecasts.
- Leads the business control team.
- Serves as the ABC Management Team's business partner.
- Leads and shapes the planning and control cycle.
- Advises management on the financial consequences of proposed policies and decisions.
- Establishes and creates financial reports and other management information for management.
- Creates business cases for new commercial ventures.
- Assists in the management of departmental budgets.
- Helps with product pricing and the value chain.
- Develops project control for large and complex expansion and replacement investments.
- Prepares financial analyses for new product launches and developments.
- Leads, plans, and implements initiatives to enhance working capital management.
- Calculates and evaluates the company's operating expenditures on a monthly basis.
- Improves cost-cutting initiatives.
- Coordinates occupancy assistance (OA) and establishes a team and governance.
- Performs a monthly business process review (BPR) with the area and discusses previous month's performance.
- Analyzes and evaluates performance in relation to budget.

**Business Partnering and decision support**

1. Maximize supply chain performance by working closely alongside, supporting, challenging and influencing the Teams.

2. Provide advice & guidance in decision making for cost savings and cost optimizations.

3. Leads the supply chain business control on the following analysis:
4. Developing business cases

5. Providing scenario modelling

6. Transportation analysis on cost efficiency and route to destinations

7. Monitor and analyse RPM to maximize the return rate

8. leading ad hoc analysis to gain insight where relevant.

9. Proactively work with the Supply Chain and production team to identify, analyze and exploit operation efficiencies, intervene on fundamental issues and provide financial leadership on strategic projects.

10. Leads the preparation of Supply chain Fund Applications including relevant analysis of and advice on the investment that is applied for.

**Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting**

1. Leads the budgeting and cost forecast within the OpCo for the 3-year Strategic Action Plan, Annual Operational Plan and Latest Estimates including providing relevant challenge to supply chain and production team.

2. Ensure finance involvement in the S&OP process to secure a cross-functional perspective and alignment with the various Latest Estimates.

**Business Performance Management**

1. Monitor and develop insight on the quantitative and qualitative performance of the supply chain cost control, inventories, transportations and communicate this insight through the preparation and delivery of streamlined reporting including commentary and KPIs

2. Monitor Raw material usage comparing to BOM

3. Monitor and track Raw material cost and understand the gaps between BOM

4. Monitor overhead expenses and cost optimizations

5. Conduct the Standard cost calculation

6. Monitor actual cost development vs Budget/LE and provide early warnings on deviations.

7. Present results to the Supply Chain Management Teams.

8. Define and challenge the requirements for standard management reporting, further the development of the Management Information System and liaise with information services to communicate identified requirements.

9. Leads the gross savings of the company and reports to the MT

**Month End**

1. Review accruals of transportation and fixed expenses

2. Review the inventory movement reconciliation

3. Review the Raw and Pack reconciliation

**Requirements**:

- **_Competency_**- Strong in shaping the strategy based on data & facts and then articulating it in a visual & compelling way
- Strong stakeholder management (influencing skills to drive decision making, building rapport with local commerce community, driving alignment of hub priorities, and creating visibility of progress)
- Lead, motivate, develop teams
- **_Experience & Qualifications_**- +10 years supply chain experience in FMCG industry
- Strong analytical skills
- English level: proficient
- MBA is a plus
