**ROLE SUMMARY**:

- King’s School The Crown is built in extensive grounds offering world-class educational and sporting facilities, enabling students to pursue a diverse range of interests. Our purpose-Built Campus of over 40,000m2 located in the heart of Cairo's most prestigious gated community, The Crown, 6th October city. This school is the first in the region to cater to students from 3 months up to 18 years with state-of-the-art facilities, including: a full football field, 400m athletic track, 25m 8 lane covered swimming pool with learner pool, indoor multi-purpose sports hall, outdoor multipurpose courts and a 522 seat Performing Arts theatre.King’s School The Crown is delighted to be a part of the British Council schools partnership, working with Cambridge to deliver the UK national curriculum through to IGCSE. The process involved multiple inspections to ensure our new school met the highest standards, from the Egyptian Ministry of Education, Cambridge and the British Council. King’s School passed with flying colours**We have an exciting opportunity for a Mathematics Teacher, to join King’s School The Crown on a 6-month fixed term contract, from January-June 2026. This position will deliver lessons from upper primary up to IGCSE classes.**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Excellence in Teaching and Learning**:Plan and deliver inspiring, well-structured lessons that promote intellectual curiosity, creativity, and academic rigour. Ensure learning is appropriately differentiated to meet the diverse needs of pupils, enabling all to make exceptional progress in line with the school’s curriculum and standards.
- **Assessment and Academic Progress**:Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor, evaluate, and support pupil achievement. Provide timely, constructive feedback to foster improvement and a commitment to high standards in every learner.
- **Promoting the King’s Ethos**:Uphold and embody the values and ethos of King’s School The Crown, ensuring that pupils are nurtured in an environment that promotes integrity, respect, and a genuine love of learning.
- **Contribution to School Life**:Play an active role in the wider life of the school, including co-curricular and enrichment programmes. Support school events and initiatives that enhance the educational experience and strengthen the sense of community.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:

- A bacherlors degree and PGCE or B.Ed, or the equivalent teaching qualfication
- Experience delivering the UK curriculum, up to KS4 classes
- Confidence with the use of ICT in teaching
- Enhanced disclosure from the DBS or equivalent
- High expectations and aspirations for all students
- A commitment to the overall development of young people
- An open-minded approach to their work, are willing to learn and develop
- A demonstrable love for what they do and a proven track record
