Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

**What we’re looking for**:
This opening is part of the **Cloud Environment team**, responsible for the development of our **Simcenter SaaS platform**. This platform is changing the way Siemens customers use engineering simulation software to create amazing new products. We are building a service that gives any engineer access to simulation on demand globally, without having to invest in sophisticated and expensive on-premise software deployments. Our goal is to make the Simcenter SaaS platform the easiest, most flexible, way to get engineering insights, in the shortest possible time.

The team is seeking someone who has expertise in **AWS cloud solutions** to support bringing high value products to our customer.

**Required skills, knowledge and experience**
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience in developing services and deploying infrastructure in AWS cloud platform
- Proven experience researching, designing and implementing micro-services delivering self-contained business functionality within a SaaS product.
- Considers security and user data protection throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Confirmed skills on AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, Cloud Formation, Scalability, High Availability).
- AWS Associate/Professional certification is a huge plus
- Proficient with various programming languages such as Python & JavaScript.
- Experience using CI/CD pipelines (GitLab experience is an advantage).
- Experience with multi-team, collaborative software development including source control and collaborative design and code reviews.
- Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
