Senior Translator

**Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Translate literary texts from English to Arabic, maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
- Adapt translations to suit the target audience, considering cultural nuances and age appropriateness.
- Collaborate with the Translation Team Leader to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project deadlines.
- Provide detailed feedback and evaluation for each work.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of style guides and glossaries.
- Proactively identify and propose solutions to language and structural challenges.
- Generate creative ideas to enhance the translation process and improve the quality of the final product.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new strategies and best practices.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in English Literature, Translation Studies, or a related field.
- At least two years of professional experience in translation, with a strong focus on children’s literature.
- Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
- Excellent understanding of English and Arabic grammar, syntax, and semantics.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
