**Overview**: Sr. Manager - Network is part of the IT Operations team within the PepsiCo CTO Organization at Cairo and reports to the Director-Network. PepsiCo has a multivendor hybrid outsourced model for its Infrastructure IT operations. The PepsiCo IT Operations team works with various businesses, in-house IT teams, IT partners, and OEMs to maintain high-quality services around the clock. The person in this role is responsible for developing and maintaining functional and secure networks. You will mentor a team of engineers to troubleshoot and optimize our networks for our users. In this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture, security, and data protection. Your goal will be to establish networks that cater to customer needs. **Responsibilities**: Work with the Managed Service Providers to - Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) - Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices - Monitor network performance and integrity - Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure. - Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness - Mentor team members on technical issues - Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access authentication and disaster recovery) - Communicate with users when needed - Maintain complete technical documentation - Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability. **Qualifications**: Mandatory skills >12 - 15 yrs Experience as a Senior Network Engineer in managing large-scale IT Network Operations and with a recent Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, CCDP) - Sound knowledge of IP Networking, LAN, WLAN, VoIP, SDN, and SD-WAN. - In-depth knowledge of network management, network availability, and capacity planning. - In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF) - Familiarity with access control models and network security - Perform complex system analysis, including requirements definition, interfacing with users and providing cost and benefit analysis. - Responsible for firmware/software updates and managing maintenance renewal for all network infrastructure. - Assist with new designs, installation and testing of IT systems and related networks/peripherals within the company. - Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS) - Sharp troubleshooting skills - Ability to work independently - Organizational and mentoring skills with experience of working in an outsourced environment. Preferred skills >CCNP / CCIE Certification would be desirable. - Strong understanding of network security principles and associated technologies. - Analyzing workflow and security requirements and establishing the network. - Strong relationship-building capability - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Proven experience of managing an effective working relationship with audit departments, and challenging where appropriate
