Role Summary:
Professional craft and conceptualisation are that of a high-quality level and take ownership and initiative in work and daily tasks, aiding in the overall high standards of the GRC team. Supporting and leading GRC rollout projects that focus on identifying key enterprise and process level risks. In addition, to governances’ projects that assess the existing control environment and support the business to continue enhancing it. Not only that, but also supporting and leading an interesting ad-hoc assignment with different functions.
- What’s On Your Plate?- Own the development and execution of communications to relevant stakeholders regarding project goals, roles, responsibilities, and objectives for business critical projects.-
- Work cross-functionally on project prioritization, and resource management.-
- Take an active role in our focus on continuous improvement, as we are always on the lookout for ways to advance our processes, product quality, and overall efficiency.-
- Provide advice and support local business functions as they identify, assess, manage, mitigate, and monitor risks.-
- Provide thought partnership, risk analytics (e.g. IT risk), and recommendations around remediation, Risk Mitigation, or process improvement to the local, management and functional leaders-
- Consult and coordinate with other control-related functions (e.g. finance and tech).-
- Support to implement global framework / methodology for governance over controls to maintain, continuously update and improve controls.-
- Lead a GRC member(s) in Egypt in alignment with regional framework and structure.-
- Roll out of global and local policies in the local entity (together with local management) provide training on those policies.-
- Promote risk culture and raise awareness within the local organization.-
- Perform investigations in partnership with Legal, People Operation, and other groups as the need arises for policy violations, worker misconduct, criminal activity, workplace threats, and other potential risks- What Did We Order?- Bachelor's degree in a related field, Business, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.-
- 8-10 years’ experience working as a external/internal audit, compliance, risk management or similar.-
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality work within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.-
- Ability to benchmark and analyse various business risks.-
- Strong background in risk management, information security, policy management, internal control and project management.-
- Strong Knowledge of key business processes (order to cash, procure to pay, financial close, hire to pay, etc.) is highly desired.-
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing with colleagues and peers.-
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing, and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.-
- Ability to learn, grow and take on expanded duties as business needs evolve.-
- English fluency required; Arabic is required.
