Non-pc R&d Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Technical brands support for emerging platforms like Pellets and Macro Snacks in CFI portfolio for Refresh, Reframe and some breakthrough innovation.
- Projects support for AOP and PSP initiatives from Idea Hopper to Launch and Learn.
- Develop product against Consumer and Business KPIs by leveraging available resources including pilot plants, factory equipment, supplier’s technical assets.
- Develop project briefs/Global Innovation Briefs and seek cross functional alignment
(especially Marketing and Supply Chain).
- Leverage expertise inside and outside the organization to deliver product and process
development.
- Lead Technical Stage Gate & Accolade related work for his/her project and ensure timely completion.
- Support in productivity agenda for Potato Chips, Doritos, Extruded and popcorn for CFI CU.
Qualifications:
- Graduation degree in Food Science /Engineering (Chemical/industrial) / Food &
Nutrition/Pharma
Knowledge:
- Excellent knowledge of food production processes
- Reasonable Knowledge of product development tools
- Good working knowledge of food science principles
- Ability to create product formulations delivering consumer winning products
- Excellent knowledge of experimental design
- Ability to plan and conduct factory trials
- Good knowledge of statistical analysis
- Good Knowledge of consumer testing protocols
**Work Experience**:
- Must have FMCG experience of 8 years
- Preference for experience in Product development/R&D function and 3rd party management.
**Language Proficiency**:
- Fluent English (writing and verbal) is a must.
**Skills & Abilities**:
- Proven record of launching at least couple of innovations in the market.
- Ability to work in Factory/Plant environment in collaboration with diverse nationality workforce.
- Self-starter, self-motivating - very high drive for results and able to deal with uncertainty and complexity.
- Cultural sensitivity/flexibility in responding to diverse cultures/work styles.
- Ability to travel locally and internationally.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with Supply Chain, Marketing, equipment & materials suppliers and consumer testing agencies.
