Quality Specialist

**Responsibilities**:
- Review calibration certificates and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Verify that calibration procedures and methods are followed correctly and that measurements are traceable to national or international standards.
- Identify and investigate any discrepancies, errors, or deviations in calibration certificates and documentation.
- Work closely with calibration technicians and other departments to address and resolve issues related to calibration documentation.
- Maintain records of calibration review activities, including documentation of findings, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
- Provide guidance and training to calibration technicians on proper documentation practices and quality requirements.
- Participate in internal audits and inspections to assess compliance with calibration procedures and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance the quality and efficiency of calibration processes and documentation.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field (e.g., quality assurance, engineering, metrology).
- Previous experience in quality assurance or quality control roles, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Knowledge of quality management principles, practices, and standards, such as ISO 9001 or cGMP.
- Familiarity with calibration processes, standards, and documentation requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing and analyzing calibration certificates and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
