You as a Senior Commissioning Team Leader will be part of Hitachi Energy based in New Cairo, Cairo, Egypt. You will be representing the commissioning function at project meetings and design review meetings. You must contribute to creation of the project commissioning philosophy and implementation. You will be implementing commissioning design changes and the production of as built project documentation.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Supporting continuous improvement of project process and product and system design Via provision of lessons learned feedback.
- Assisting in creating proposals for engineering projects or programs through provision of bills of materials and estimated engineering hours for own Discipline.
- Supporting Contract Managers in issuing claims (new scope of work, cost Impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.).
- Creating work plans and cost estimates for work in own area of responsibility and proactively manages this work to deliver the agreed program on time, on quality and at targeted cost.
- Representing the Commissioning function at risk review meetings throughout the project lifecycle e.g. hazard and operability study and hazard identification study reviews in the design phase and the Commissioning panel during the commissioning phase. Conducts risk and opportunity assessments in real time during the commissioning phase to ensure safe implementation of the commissioning philosophy and identification of potential variation requests to support contract claims. Reports early any Contract/quality/program/cost issues to management, along with recommendations for resolution.
- Coordinating site activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance certification. Acting as the Hitachi lead for commissioning activities on a project. Ensures that Hitachi is presented as a professional organization in all interactions with the customer.
- Managing external organizations providing Commissioning with equipment, systems or services (e.g. issues permit to work, provides guidance on health and safety requirements and work practices, accepts as complete work done).
- Coaching Associate Commissioning Engineers.
- Using agreed processes and procedures to ensure that all commissioning activities comply with the required safety regulations and satisfy Contractual requirements.
- Managing a small Commissioning team.

**Your background**
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Good knowledge in HE relays configuration.
- Good knowledge in SAS system of HE is supporting site team for system implementation
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English.
