This is a key role where you will play a crucial part in protecting our infrastructure, ensuring the integrity of sensitive data, and helping us stay ahead of emerging cyber threats.

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement robust security protocols, systems, and solutions to protect the organization from internal and external threats.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
- Lead the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions and respond to incidents with appropriate countermeasures.
- Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, including **GDPR**, **ISO 27001**, and other industry-specific standards.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure coding practices and system configurations.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on security best practices and emerging threats.
- Lead incident response efforts and forensics investigations, documenting all incidents and recommending improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, tools, and trends, and continuously improve our cybersecurity posture.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Deep understanding of security frameworks such as **NIST**, **CIS**, and **ISO 27001**.
- Proven experience with security technologies such as **firewalls**, **IDS/IPS**, **SIEM**, **DLP**, and **endpoint protection**.
- Strong knowledge of encryption techniques, authentication protocols, and secure software development.
- Expertise in **ethical hacking**, **penetration testing**, and vulnerability management.
- Experience in securing cloud environments (e.g., **AWS**, **Azure**, **Google Cloud**) and understanding of DevSecOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations and standards such as **GDPR** and **HIPAA**.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certifications such as **CISSP**, **CEH**, **CISM**, or **GIAC**.
- Experience with **zero trust** security models and **threat intelligence platforms**.
- Knowledge of advanced threat detection and response technologies like **EDR** and **XDR**.
- Familiarity with **blockchain security** or **IoT security**.
