Web Stack Tester

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Full Stack Testing**:

- Perform functional, regression, performance, compatibility, and security testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- **Automation Framework Development**:

- Design, develop, and implement automated test suites across the web stack using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
- **Tool and Technology Utilization**:

- Use test management tools such as TestLink, XRAY, or JIRA to organize and report testing activities.
- Leverage API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) to test RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Conduct database testing, including data validation and schema integrity checks.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Provide regular reports on test coverage, progress, and quality metrics.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Stay updated on the latest testing tools, practices, and trends to enhance testing processes.
- Recommend improvements to the development lifecycle to prevent issues and enhance efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Cypress).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java for automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
- Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL for testing purposes.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
- Knowledge of cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their impact on testing.
- Understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).
