**HR Specialist** for one of our partners, a top notch learning consultancy.

**Job Summary**:
The HR Specialist performs specific HR functions like recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, rewards, and employee relations. Their day-to-day function also includes handling other HR tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assists with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
- Implements new hire orientation, by scheduling meetings for smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional onboardings’ experience.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource activities including but not limited to leave, maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper, receiving the requested papers from the new hires, ensure that all the papers are ready for the social insurance procedures and medical insurance after the probation period.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with local employment laws (for the three offices) and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Assists in development and enforcement of human resource policies.
- Gather and analyses data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates to enhance the hiring process.
- Manage with people manager the employee satisfaction/ engagement surveys and give actionable insights to improve employees’ experience.
- Assists and develops employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relations.
- Coordinates with the people manager to develop the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Suggests strategies to motivate employees.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree from any reputable university.
- 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist.
- Exposure to labor law and employment equity regulations.
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English language is a must.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Exposure to payroll practices.
