Flairstech is seeking a skilled and passionate Database Administrator to manage our mission-critical SQL databases on the Azure platform. You will play a vital role in ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our data infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure SQL Database, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Database Administration**: Manage and maintain Azure SQL Databases, including provisioning, configuration, security, backup and recovery, and performance optimization.
- ** Performance Monitoring and Tuning**: Proactively monitor database performance using Azure monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, SQL Insights) and identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Implement query optimization techniques, index tuning, and other performance enhancements.
- ** Security Management**: Implement and maintain security best practices, including user access management, data encryption, and vulnerability assessments. Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- ** High Availability and Disaster Recovery**: Implement and test high availability and disaster recovery solutions for Azure SQL Databases, including failover groups, geo-replication, and backups.
- ** Automation**: Automate routine database administration tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) and automation tools.
- ** Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and resolve database issues, including performance problems, connectivity issues, and data corruption.
