**Payroll Specialist**

Overall our team’s objective is to provide efficient process execution, effective issue resolution and accurate HR time and payroll data in support of an excellent customer experience.

**Your focus will be on**
- Passion to create a great support customer experience
- Translate business payroll requests into mass upload templates of payroll input, submit them to the payroll vendor for processing, ensure prompt processing, and validate accurate processing via auditing procedures
- ** Managing issues and errors**:

- **Working with third party vendors to ensure accurate delivery of French payroll(s)**:

- **Ensuring we are compliant and adhere to both country legislation and also AZ process and policy**:

- **Working with key stakeholders across the various AZ France entities**:

- **Managing integrations and ensuring we are as efficient as possible reducing the need for manual intervention**:

- Ensure payroll vendor(s) receives all payroll instructions in a timely manner, reconcile instructions sent against vendor reports
- Perform appropriate audit controls to ensure payroll is processed accurately
- Support execution of VIP payroll and data transactions required
- Complete payroll reconciliation and processing of various periodic reports, e.g. pension leavers, sales bonus processing and missing national insurance numbers
- Respond to payroll ticket escalations
- Research and resolve employee pay and time issues
- Work with other in-country HR teams and Regional HR Centre to manage complex employee transactions (e.g. redundancies, involuntary terminations, etc.)
- Use the HR knowledge base and internal work instructions to ensure that processes are executed correctly, and customer guidance is provided in an effective and consistent manner
- Effectively operate financial and SOX controls, checking to ensure that all appropriate approvals are in place where needed to support time and payroll transactions
- Support HR Operations Lead and wider HR Operations & Solutions team with special projects as directed. Conduct ad hoc analyses as applicable. Provide support for critical HR initiatives as needed
- ** Working with Payroll Analysts across the 4 payrolls**:

- Look for opportunities to improve process execution and technology usage, working with HR Operations Lead to prioritise and implement improvements
