**Key Responsibilities**:
- Managing the Accounts payable function; responsible for monitoring and overseeing timely and accurate input of supplier invoices,
payment of supplier accounts within contractual agreements, and the resolution of all queries.
- Ensures that systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure timely reporting and compliances in accordance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Ensures that the accounts payable and the company’s financial obligations are met efficiently.
- Review and approve supplier reconciliations as per workflow.
- Monitoring Supplier Advances and Debit balances and ensuring all Supplier Debit Balances are monitored.
- Accountable for monitoring the full AP cycle from invoice processing to payment.
- Strong knowledge of tax in the Middle East “for example, VAT, WHT, WHT between countries.
- Oversees all tax-related processes,
- Prepare and submit Monthly and quarterly tax required reports “ Example VAT report, Payroll Tax reconciliation, and WHT, etc.“
- Working to tight deadlines in order to achieve monthly input, payments, and reconciliation targets set.
- Ensure all annual and internal audit requirements are addressed in a timely and complete manner.
- Maintaining the Accounts Payable Trade Master File, ensuring the records are kept up to date and new supplier amendments are updated within the agreed time frame.
- To provide leadership and Management of the Accounts Payable Team, responsible for recruitment, training & motivation and development needs of the Team.
- Ensure cash Outflows are forecasted, reviewed, and supplied to Treasury as per agreed timetables
- Review status of Aged accrued cost of Sales and agree on escalation where appropriate.
**Skills/Experience**:
- Minimum 8 years of Accounts payable experience within an International Organization.
- Proven track record in Managing a large team and can demonstrate expertise in motivating and developing.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong MS Office and ERP Systems, including Excel experience, preferably to pivot table, macro level.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Well organized with strength in prioritizing.
- Flexible attitude to achieve results.
