**Role purpose**:
To ensure the setup and maintenance of an effective risk management framework that complies with the Group Standards and other relevant regulations.

**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- Enterprise risk management
- Work closely with VOIS Risk Head and support the rollout of the VOIS ERM framework.
- Work with the Regional Heads and Function Heads to implement and operate VOIS risk management framework in the Regions and Functions/Service Towers.
- Actively manage (i.e. train and coordinate) functional risk SPoCs.
- “Transition Risk” Management.
- Prepare reports and documentation about the risk management processes and communicate the same to the stakeholders.
- Identify risks and evaluate them in terms of their plausibility and repercussions and curate risk mitigation and management policies to reduce the effectiveness of the risk.
- Conduct risk reviews and assessments for identifying key risks; monitor and estimate the effectiveness of existing plans and make changes to them as needed.
- Prepare clear and succinct reporting for the various committees and forums.
- Participate and build strong risk committees in the assigned VOIS Regions and Service Towers and establish the risk function as a reputed centre of excellence, supporting the business to achieve its objectives.**Core competencies, knowledge and experience -**

Proficiency in risk management processes and principles, and prior experience as a risk manager or in a similar role.
- Experience of working in a global and matrixed environment, managing multiple and conflicting priorities and managing varied and senior stakeholders.
- Background in some of the risk and compliance areas impacting Vodafone.
- Experience of developing, implementing, driving and managing risk control frameworks to measure and mitigate risk.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:
Educated to degree level

8-10 years of relevant experience
Proficient in MS Office tools including Word, Power point & Excel.
Risk Management Certification.
