Group Sales Development Manager

**Key Objectives**
- Design and implement commercial initiatives that lead the business to meet sales and profit targets within assigned segment;
- Driving relationships and alignment with key Mining Customers;
- Provide unparalleled industry expertise to Aftermarket teams;
- Ensuring demand planning execution across key mining customers;
- Reporting and analysis on performance within the Mining Industry;
**MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
Sales development:
- Identify revenue and profit opportunities within the Mining Industry;
- Design commercial initiatives to drive growth on pockets of opportunities;
- Work with Group Marketing in the creation of compelling customer journeys;
- Drive implementation of initiatives with Business Units;
- Maximise use of Prioritised Service Events (PSE);
- Demand planning and component forecast planning for key customers (DFP / PLESN);
Industry expertise:
- Provide input to strategic plans within respective segment;
- Support Business Unit teams with industry knowledge;
- Gather the voice of customers with territory visits;
- Assist sales teams in C-level relationship;
Performance management:
- Produce comprehensive business results narratives on assigned segment;
- Analyse main drivers of performance;
- Construct detailed understanding of uptraders and downtraders;
- Complete / Update and Maintain account plans for key customers;
**You will have**:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial and/or marketing management related roles;
- Experience working cross-functionally, across multiple countries and with third-party vendors
- Previous exposure to Mining industry;
- Great understanding of Product Support commodities;
- Understanding of Rebuild cycles
- Excellent communicator
- Proficient on data manipulation tools such as MS Excel or CRM;
- Process improvement;
- Experience developing business plans / tracking performance;
- Engineering / technical qualifications or similar experience
