Av Design Engineer

**Position Overview**:
The AV Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing audiovisual systems for various environments, including corporate, educational, entertainment, and public spaces.

This role involves collaborating with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to determine system requirements, create design plans, and ensure successful project implementation.

The AV Design Engineer should have expertise in designing systems that incorporate audio, video, control systems, lighting, and networking solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Advanced Technical Support for Sales**:

- Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand and analyze detailed customer requirements, offering deep technical insights and recommendations.
- Develop comprehensive proposals, quotations, and tender responses, ensuring technical accuracy and addressing client specifications.

**Complex Solution Design**:

- Design and develop advanced AV systems, including complex integration of audio, video, control systems, and networking components.
- Create detailed technical documentation, schematics, and system architecture diagrams for proposed AV solutions.
- Conduct thorough site surveys to identify installation challenges and requirements, proposing innovative solutions.

**Technical Presentations and Demonstrations**:

- Prepare and deliver in-depth technical presentations and demonstrations to clients, showcasing the capabilities and advantages of proposed AV solutions.
- Address high-level technical queries and provide detailed explanations to both technical and executive-level audiences.

**In-Depth Vendor and Product Knowledge**:

- Maintain and continuously update expert-level knowledge of AV industry trends, products, and cutting-edge technologies (ex - Crestron, Extron, Qsys, etc).
- Develop and sustain relationships with key AV vendors and suppliers, staying informed about the latest innovations and product developments.

**Project and Technical Collaboration**:

- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure seamless transition from the sales phase to project implementation.
- Provide advanced technical guidance during the installation and commissioning of AV systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and client expectations.

**Client Engagement and Support**:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
- Conduct follow-up meetings with clients to ensure satisfaction with installed AV systems and identify opportunities for further enhancements or additional services.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in AV system design, preferably in corporate, education, or entertainment sectors.
- Proficiency in using CAD software, such as (AutoCAD or Revit, for AV system design).
- Strong knowledge of AV systems, including audio DSPs, video conferencing solutions, control systems (Crestron, AMX), and networking protocols.
- Experience with AV design software like EASE, D-Tools, or similar.
- Familiarity with IT networking principles and IP-based AV systems.
- Certifications from major AV manufacturers (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Dante) are highly desirable.
- **Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) is preferred**:

- Strong problem-solving ability, excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: From E£20,000.00 per month
