Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Concept reports & Providing Electrical Load Estimation according to IEEE and NEC standards

  • Attending client meetings and managing junior Electrical Engineers for finalizing the required tasks

  • Coordinate with Architecture team for Elec Rooms, shaft's locations and sizes

  • Electrical substations detail design (Transformers, generators, RMU's, MDB's, MVSG, UPS)

  • Preparation of Lighting, Power and cable routing design drawings,

including plans, single line diagrams and panel schedules according to (Egyptian code of electricity, OES standards, IEEE, NEC).

  • Designing low and medium voltage network, street lighting.

  • Preparation of Earthing and lightning protection concept design drawings

  • Preparation of calculation sheets (Voltage drop, Lux, short circuit)

  • Calculation of Generator size using programs like (Cummins Power Suite).

  • Preparation of BOQ's.

  • Providing of Complete Design drawings for different Low Current Systems including (BMS - Data & Telephone - Fire Alarm – Access Control – Intrusion – Intercom – CCTV- PA System).

  • Coordinate with suppliers for providing Home Automation solutions using different protocol (ZIGBEE, Z-WAVE, KNX)

  • Studying technical and financial offers from various suppliers in tender stage.

Job requirements:

  • 10+ years of Experience
  • professional in electrical engineering calculations with international standards knowledge to have full support documents
  • Excellent in English.
  • professionalism in all electrical design and implementation segments (power ), (MV, LV) , lighting, low current, building automation , ELV , AV , BMS, KNX)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full awareness of all design related software programs
