**Key responsibilities & duties**:

- Leads the creation and review of a systems capability strategy that meets the strategic requirements of the business.
- Develops models and plans to drive the execution of the strategy,
- Taking advantage of opportunities to improve business performance.
- Takes responsibility for investigative work to determine requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, data management, practices, procedures, organization, and equipment.
- Develops and presents business cases, for high-level initiatives, approval, funding, and prioritization.
- Sets policies, standards, and practices to ensure compliance between business strategies, technology strategies, and enterprise transformation activities in coordination with the IT management.
- Ensures compliance between business strategies, enterprise transformation activities and technology directions, setting strategies, policies, standards, and practices activities in coordination with the IT management.
- Leads the development of solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas.
- Balance between functional, service quality and systems management requirements within a significant area of the organization.
- Ensures that appropriate tools and methods are available, understood and employed in architecture development.
- Within a change program, leads the preparation of technical plans and, in liaison with business assurance and project staff, ensures that appropriate technical resources are made available.
- Provides advice on technical aspects of solution development and integration (including requests for changes, deviations from specifications, etc.)
- Ensures that appropriate standards (corporate, industry, national and international) are adhered to.
- Ensures that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices (including security) are applied correctly.
- Manages the target design, policies, and standards, working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across projects within the program.

**Qualifications**
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
- 5-7 years of information security experience.
- Strong knowledge of GCP, O365, and SIEM Implementation.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certifications are an asset.
- Professional experience using cybersecurity and open-source technology
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
