**Overview**:
We are seeking a Social Media Moderator to monitor and moderate content on our company's social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The Social Media Moderator will ensure all user-generated content adheres to our company's social media guidelines and community standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor social media platforms for inappropriate content like offensive language, spam, nudity, or violence. Remove any violating content.
- Respond to user complaints about inappropriate content. Investigate and take down content that violates our policies.
- Stay up-to-date with trends in content moderation and changes to policies at each social media platform. Help update our internal guidelines.
- Review flagged content from other users and determine whether it should be removed or allowed to remain posted.
- Monitor metrics related to content moderation like the volume of posts removed or flagged and the response time to user complaints.
- Report metrics to the social media management team.
- Participate in training to ensure consistency in judgment and understanding of company policies and social media platform policies.
- Maintain a constructive and friendly tone when communicating with social media users about content moderation.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Familiarity with other major social networks is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain content moderation decisions to users in a respectful, friendly manner.
- Detail-oriented and able to monitor multiple social media platforms and conversations at once.
- Familiarity with social media management tools, especially those with content moderation features.
- Anime lover is a MUST
