Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for an Observability & AIOps Engineer for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services.
This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Observability Platform Management:

- Architect, deploy, and manage observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, or similar).
- Configure and maintain logs, metrics, and traces to provide actionable insights.
- AIOps Implementation:

- Implement and manage AIOps solutions to detect anomalies, forecast trends, and automate incident responses.
- Integrate AIOps tools with observability platforms and ITSM solutions (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Design self-healing mechanisms and incident automation workflows.
- Incident Management and Resolution:

- Proactively identify and resolve system performance issues using AI-driven analytics.
- Provide root cause analysis and recommendations for system improvements.
- Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and IT teams to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
- Data Analysis and Insights:

- Use machine learning models and advanced analytics to identify patterns and predict system behaviors.
- Create dashboards, alerts, and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Enablement:

- Partner with engineering, operations, and business teams to define observability and AIOps strategies.
- Train and enable teams to leverage observability and AIOps platforms effectively.
- Tool Integration and Optimization:

- Ensure seamless integration between observability tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automation platforms.
- Optimize system performance and scalability through continuous improvement of monitoring solutions.

**Requirements**:

- Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in observability, monitoring, or AIOps roles
- Technical Expertise:

- Hands-on experience with observability tools (e.g., Splunk, New Relic, Datadog, AppDynamics, ELK, or OpenTelemetry).
- Proficiency in implementing and managing AIOps tools (e.g., Moogsoft, BigPanda, Dynatrace, or IBM Watson AIOps).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Expertise in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- AIOps and Monitoring Skills:

- Experience with anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and machine learning in IT operations.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools and integration workflows (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Problem-Solving and Collaboration:

- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
- Certifications (preferred):

- Certifications in observability or AIOps tools (e.g., Splunk Architect, Dynatrace Associate).
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
