Af Coordinator

We are looking for a Plant Coordinator at EL-Mahalla Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Treatment Plant, CEMEX.

Job description:

- Enforce safety standards and procedures across all mechanical operations and maintenance activities.
- Oversee the daily operation of the treatment plant to ensure efficient waste processing and consistent RDF output.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of mechanical equipment, including bag openers, sorting conveyors, trommels, shredders, and wind shifters.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for fixed and mobile equipment (e.g. loaders, excavators).
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures to minimize downtime.
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement processes.
- Track and report on key plant performance indicators (KPIs), such as throughput, RDF calorific value, downtime, and energy consumption.
- Prepare regular technical and operational reports for senior management.
- Supervise and lead the mechanical maintenance team and plant operators.

Job Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical operations or maintenance, preferably in waste management, industrial plants, or similar environments.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in both English and Arabic.
