**Position Title**: Performance Management Manager

**Location**: Cairo, Egypt

**Specific Responsibilities**:
The Performance Management position for Apache Egypt will be a member of Apache’s Planning and Performance Management function at the company’s Cairo Joint Venture, reporting to the Director of Planning, Egypt based in Cairo.
Apache operates two Joint Venture (JV) companies in partnership with the Egyptian General Petroleum Company, currently being merged into a single JV, Khalda Petroleum. The merger will involve a number of integration and optimization projects intended to streamline and modernize the JV business and operational processes. The Performance Management Manager will be responsible for establishing and performance management activities within the merged Joint Venture, working across the JV functions and with our Apache Corporate planning group. This is a high impact and highly visible role to deliver long term value.

**This role is primarily responsible for the following**:
Analyze and report Joint Venture performance against short
- and long-term operational and financial metrics and targets;
Identify barriers to plan and mitigation alternatives to meet and exceed plan expectations;
Perform comprehensive look backs to understand trends of capital and operating performance, run time, drilling performance, project execution, reservoir performance, field development plan progress etc.; Ensure alignment of long-term strategic goals to short-term performance; Provide monthly management and ad-hoc reports as needed on tracking actual costs against plans at a functional, department, category and account level; Provide insight for adjustments to Joint Venture’s monthly outlook process; Act as Joint Venture performance management focal point and primary interface with Joint Venture Function Leads and Apache asset planning ; Lead in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual Joint Venture key performance indicators and metrics; Assist with in-depth analysis and presentation of findings of drivers to key performance indicator variances; Assist with preparation of materials for review by Joint Venture executive team and Joint Venture Board members; Assist with the preparation of JV Board of Director meeting presentations; Maintain and update allocation of Joint Venture costs for input into Joint Venture annual and long-term plans.
